Brookfield buys Dallas distribution center

Brookfield Office Properties Inc. purchased a 750,000-square-foot distribution center in Dallas for an undisclosed amount, the Dallas Business Journal reported, citing county deed records.

The I-30 Business Center was bought from an affiliate of Allstate Corp. earlier this summer.

Comprising two warehouse buildings, the Adler Road property was last assessed at $16.1 million by the Dallas Central Appraisal District. It is anchored by FedEx and Geodis and currently has 181,000 square feet vacant, the publication added, citing marketing materials by Brookfield.

CBRE Group is leasing the property.
