Kimco Realty Corp. sold its 294,000-square-foot Cherrydale Point shopping center in Greenville, S.C.; its 171,000-square-foot Shops at Kildeer property in Illinois; and its South Park Shopping Center in Kentucky during the 2018 fourth quarter.
The assets were among 16 properties and two land parcels, which comprised 1.9 million square feet, that the shopping center real estate investment trust sold during the quarter, bringing its total sales for the period to $357.1 million, of which Kimco's share was $228.4 million.
For the full year 2018, the REIT sold 68 properties and eight parcels, altogether aggregating 8.2 million square feet, for $1.1 billion, of which the company's share was $913.9 million.
