Brazil's Banco BS2 SA is set to launch digital banking services focused on small and medium-sized enterprises, Valor Econômico reported.
The operations will initially include a billing platform and acquiring and investment services, while credit offerings will be added later. BS2 is reportedly testing a beta version of the platform with 327 companies, and will only charge users for cleared bills.
"The proposal is to give customers more clarity and manageability," BS2 Executive Director Juliana Pentagna Guimaraes told Valor Econômico.
The bank already operates in the acquiring sector through Adiq, in partnership with Dutch e-commerce specialist Adyen. In October, the bank plans to launch its own point of sale terminals enter the card processing business.
According to the publication, BS2 also plans to offer banking services to financial technology startups and other digital companies.
