Naturgy completes turbine installation at 6 wind projects in Spain

Naturgy Energy Group SA has completed turbine installation at six wind projects in Spain with a total combined capacity of about 200 MW.

The Spanish utility installed 54 turbines at the Pena Forcada-Catasol II, Mourinos, Monte Tourado-Eixe, Serra do Punago-Vacariza, Monciro and Pastoriza-Rodeiro wind farms, which it won under the Spanish government's renewable energy auction in May 2017, Renewables Now reported Sept. 10.

The wind projects are expected to begin commercial operation by the end of 2019.
