Zwack Unicum fiscal Q3 profit falls YOY

Zwack Unicum Nyrt. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2015, was 515.00 forints per share, a decrease of 22.6% from 665.00 forints per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 1.03 billion forints, a decrease of 22.6% from 1.33 billion forints in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin declined to 19.9% from 22.2% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue decreased 13.4% on an annual basis to 5.18 billion forints from 5.98 billion forints, and total operating expenses fell 8.5% year over year to 3.53 billion forints from 3.86 billion forints.

Reported net income fell 23.0% on an annual basis to 1.29 billion forints, or 645.00 forints per share, from 1.68 billion forints, or 838.00 forints per share.

As of Feb. 3, US$1 was equivalent to 281.86 forints.
