Axis Bank CFO resigns

India's Axis Bank Ltd. said Jairam Sridharan resigned as group executive and CFO of the bank to pursue other career opportunities.

Sridharan will remain in the role for three months, under his notice period, according to a Dec. 6 stock exchange filing.

The bank has initiated a succession plan for the roles and a candidate will be appointed in due course.
