Aviva CFO steps down, considering 'new opportunities'

Tom Stoddard will step down as CFO and as a director of Aviva PLC on June 30 as he considers "new opportunities."

He will serve six months notice with effect from July 1 and will be placed on garden leave until Dec. 31. During this period, he will continue to receive his salary and contractual benefits. Stoddard's employment will terminate Dec. 31.

Jason Windsor, currently CFO of Aviva UK Insurance, will become interim CFO on July 1. This appointment is subject to regulatory approval.
