Aviation Links Q3 profit falls YOY

Aviation Links Ltd. said its normalized net income for the third quarter came to 42 cents per share, a decline of 10.4% from 47 cents per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was $3.2 million, a decline of 10.4% from $3.6 million in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin declined to 3.5% from 4.1% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed 6.0% year over year to $93.2 million from $87.9 million, and total operating expenses grew 7.4% from the prior-year period to $87.4 million from $81.4 million.

Reported net income fell year over year to $4.0 million, or 53 cents per share, from $4.2 million, or 56 cents per share.
