NexGen Energy Ltd. said Aug. 26 that it will launch a maiden drill program of at least 4,000 meters in early September at its SW1 uranium prospect, located near its Rook I property in Saskatchewan, Canada.
The program will test high-priority anomalies analogous to Rook 1's Arrow deposit, which fetched a posttax net present value of C$3.66 billion, discounted at 8%, based on a November 2018 pre-feasibility study.
In January, the company kicked off a drill program of at least 125,000 meters at Rook 1, with results to be included in a bankable feasibility study scheduled for the first half of 2020.
