GrowGeneration Corp. on Sept. 3 said it bought the assets of Grand Rapids Hydroponics for an undisclosed amount.
The deal increases the gardening store operator's presence in Michigan to four retail and warehouse locations.
It marks the company's seventh acquisition in 2019 and is expected to add an accretive $8 million in revenue. GrowGeneration said it will update its guidance at the end of the third quarter.
As part of the transaction, Grand Rapids Hydro founder Christopher Nicholson will join GrowGen in an executive sales and business development role.
