China CITIC Bank names 2 new directors

China CITIC Bank Corp. Ltd. nominated two new directors on its board and a nonemployee representative supervisor to its supervisory board.

The bank nominated Cao Guoqiang a nonexecutive director and Isaac Yan Lap Kei an independent nonexecutive director. Cao was most recently chairman of China CITIC Bank's board of supervisors.

In addition, the bank appointed Deng Changqing a nonemployee representative supervisor on its supervisory board.

Further, China CITIC Bank said Wu Xiaoqing and Andrew Wong Luen Cheung will step down as independent nonexecutive directors upon appointment of the new directors.

The appointments are subject to necessary approvals.
