Blackstone Mortgage Trust closes notes offering

Blackstone Mortgage Trust Inc. closed its underwritten public offering of $220.0 million of its 4.75% convertible senior notes due March 15, 2023.

Interest on the notes is payable semiannually in arrears on March 15 and Sept. 15.

As per the underwriting agreement with BXMT Advisors LLC and Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith Inc., the company has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to buy up to an additional $33.0 million of the notes solely to cover overallotments, if any.

The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co. NA is the trustee.

Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith, Barclays Capital Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, Wells Fargo Securities LLC, JMP Securities LLC and Keefe Bruyette & Woods Inc. are the underwriters.
