Novita Q3 profit climbs 41.4% YOY

Novita SA said its third-quarter normalized net income was 1.28 zlotys per share, a gain of 41.4% from 91 groszy per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 3.2 million zlotys, an increase of 41.4% from 2.3 million zlotys in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin increased to 13.6% from 9.9% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose on an annual basis to 23.7 million zlotys from 22.8 million zlotys, and total operating expenses fell year over year to 18.5 million zlotys from 19.1 million zlotys.

Reported net income rose 39.5% on an annual basis to 4.2 million zlotys, or 1.66 zlotys per share, from 3.0 million zlotys, or 1.19 zlotys per share.

As of Nov. 10, US$1 was equivalent to 4.02 zlotys.
