CKH Food & Health Ltd said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, came to 154.74 South Korean won per share, a decrease of 7.2% from 166.77 won per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 15.25 billion won, a gain of 9.4% from 13.94 billion won in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin dropped to 19.9% from 20.2% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue grew 11.3% year over year to 76.82 billion won from 69.02 billion won, and total operating expenses grew 12.9% on an annual basis to 52.36 billion won from 46.38 billion won.
Reported net income rose 13.3% on an annual basis to 18.02 billion won, or 182.86 won per share, from 15.91 billion won, or 190.41 won per share.
As of March 2, US$1 was equivalent to 1,102.78 South Korean won.
