Food Capitals Public Company Ltd said its normalized net income for the first quarter came to a loss of 3 satang per share, compared with a loss of 3 satang per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of 49.4 million baht, compared with a loss of 35.5 million baht in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin climbed to negative 31.7% from negative 36.1% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue climbed 68.8% on an annual basis to 165.8 million baht from 98.3 million baht, and total operating expenses rose 75.1% on an annual basis to 251.7 million baht from 143.7 million baht.
Reported net income came to a loss of 66.1 million baht, or a loss of 4 satang per share, compared to a loss of 48.9 million baht, or a loss of 4 satang per share, in the prior-year period.
