Japan's Awa Bank raises fiscal full-year net profit forecast

Awa Bank Ltd. raised its net income forecast for the fiscal full year ending March 31 by 10.3%, citing higher-than-expected dividend from securities and lower credit costs.

The Japanese regional bank said it now expects net income of ¥11.80 billion for the year, compared with its November 2016 forecast of ¥10.70 billion.

As of Jan. 26, US$1 was equivalent to ¥114.71.
