e'grand Co.Ltd said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Sept. 30 was ¥120.6 million, a decrease from ¥126.3 million in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.
The normalized profit margin rose to 3.2% from 3.1% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue fell 6.6% year over year to ¥3.77 billion from ¥4.04 billion, and total operating expenses decreased 7.5% year over year to ¥3.51 billion from ¥3.79 billion.
Reported net income came to ¥123.0 million, or ¥19.20 per share, compared to ¥124.0 million in the year-earlier period.
