Ramaco Resources reports net loss of $2.6M in Q4'17

Ramaco Resources Inc. on March 21 reported a net loss of $2.6 million, or 7 cents per share, in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The S&P Capital IQ consensus normalized earnings estimate for the fourth quarter was 6 cents per share. Revenue was $24.0 million.

Ramaco sold 265,000 tons of coal in the most recent quarter, achieving an average sales price of $69.76/ton.

For the full year, GAAP net loss was $15.4 million, or 41 cents per share, while the S&P Capital IQ consensus normalized earnings estimate for the year was a loss of 18 cents per share.

Full-year revenue totaled $61.0 million. The company sold 608,000 tons of coal during the year, attaining an average sales price of $65.71/ton.
