Nomura Real Estate Master Fund agrees to ¥40B commitment line

Nomura Real Estate Master Fund Inc. finalized an agreement for a ¥40 billion commitment line due June 14, 2018.

Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Ltd., Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp., Mizuho Bank Ltd., Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corp. and Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank Ltd. are the lenders of the commitment line. The contract will be signed June 8 and the commitment period will begin June 15.

The company will use the funds to finance property acquisitions, repay debts and investment corporation bonds, and return deposits, the company said in a release.

As of June 5, US$1 was equivalent to ¥110.44.
