Manulife Holdings lowers FY'17 dividend

Manulife Holdings Bhd.'s board declared a first and final dividend of 8 Malaysian sen per share for full-year 2017, down from 10.5 sen per share in the year-ago period.

The dividend is subject to shareholder approval, the company said in a Feb. 26 release.

Manulife Holdings is a unit of Canada's Manulife Financial Corp.

As of Feb. 26, US$1 was equivalent to 3.91 Malaysian ringgit.
