Dr Pepper Snapple Group Inc. said its normalized net income for the third quarter was $1.14 per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of $1.16 per share.
EPS fell year over year from $1.15.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was $206.9 million, a decline from $213.8 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin declined to 11.9% from 12.7% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose on an annual basis to $1.74 billion from $1.68 billion, and total operating expenses climbed 5.0% year over year to $1.37 billion from $1.31 billion.
Reported net income declined 15.6% from the prior-year period to $202.1 million, or $1.11 per share, from $239.6 million, or $1.29 per share.
