Ahold Delhaize buys back shares

Koninklijke Ahold Delhaize NV on June 6 said it repurchased 936,555 of its common shares between May 29 and June 2.

The average purchase price per share was €19.71, for a total consideration of €18.5 million.

The shares were repurchased under the €1 billion share buyback program announced by the Dutch food retailer Dec. 7, 2016.

21,629,556 common shares have been repurchased under this program to date, for a total consideration of €429 million.
