Winnebago appoints new board member

Iowa-based Winnebago Industries Inc. said Sept. 24 that it appointed Maria Blase to its board, effective immediately.

Blase is president of the fluid management, material handling and power tools businesses of Ingersoll-Rand PLC, a manufacturer and seller of commercial and industrial products.

With Blase's appointment, the recreational vehicle manufacturer has temporarily increased the size of its board from eight to nine members. However, Winnebago also said that board member Marti Rodamaker has decided not to seek re-election at the company's annual shareholder meeting in December, which would take the board size back to eight.
