* HSBC Holdings PLC's asset management arm HSBC Global Asset Management (UK) Ltd. appointed Tina Radovic as global chief of credit research, Reuters reported. Radovic joined HSBC in 2003 and, for the past decade, has been head of credit research in Paris. She will report to Xavier Baraton, global chief investment officer of fixed income and alternatives, according to the report.
Barclays
* Barclays PLC appointed Alastair Blackman as managing director and U.K. coverage banker. Blackman joins from Deutsche Bank AG, where he was head of media and digital investment banking for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Blackman will report to the lender's head of U.K. investment banking, Alisdair Gayne, Financial News reported.
Hamburg Commercial Bank
* Germany-based Hamburg Commercial Bank AG appointed Thomas Jakob as head of its corporate client business, effective January 2020. He will be responsible for all corporate banking and advisory activities. Jakob joins from UniCredit SpA's German subsidiary HypoVereinsbank, where he was a member of the management team for corporate customers and regional manager for Southwest Germany.
Otkritie Financial Corporation
* Otkritie Financial Corp. Bank appointed Ekaterina Chirkova as head of its corporate client division, effective Aug. 20. She will be responsible for interacting with the largest corporate clients to ensure the implementation of strategic objectives and to strengthen the bank's market position.
Orchard Funding Group
* U.K.-based Orchard Funding Group PLC appointed Ketan Malde as nonexecutive director and chairman of the audit and risk committee, effective Sept. 1. Meanwhile, Nonexecutive Director Jonathan Shearman decided to not seek reelection at the upcoming annual general meeting and will retire from his position on the company's board Dec. 12.
Standard Chartered Bank Ghana
* Standard Chartered PLC unit Standard Chartered Bank Ghana Ltd. appointed Ebenezer Asante as an independent nonexecutive director, effective May 2.
