Koch Equity, Golden Gate to invest $1.5B in cloud software platform Infor

Koch Equity Development LLC and Golden Gate Capital will make a $1.5 billion investment in cloud-based business software platform Infor Inc.

The investment, which is on top of Koch's prior investment of more than $2 billion in the company in 2017, comes amid Infor's plans for a potential IPO in 2019 or 2020.

Koch, which has offices in Wichita, Kan., and London, is a sector-agnostic private equity firm seeking investments in companies with EBITDA greater than $250 million. Golden Gate is a San Francisco-based private equity firm managing more than $15 billion of capital.
