Calida Holding H1 profit falls YOY

Calida Holding AG said its normalized net income for the first half came to 17 Swiss centimes per share, a decrease of 73.5% from 65 centimes per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was CHF1.4 million, a decline of 73.3% from CHF5.2 million in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue declined 14.4% year over year to CHF169.5 million from CHF198.1 million, and total operating expenses declined 12.1% from the prior-year period to CHF166.1 million from CHF188.9 million.

Reported net income decreased 85.4% from the prior-year period to CHF808,890, or 10 centimes per share, from CHF5.5 million, or 69 centimes per share.
