AutoZone approves additional $1B stock buyback

Car parts and accessories retailer AutoZone Inc. said March 20 that its board has approved the repurchase of an additional $1 billion of the company's common stock under its current buyback program.

AutoZone has authorized $19.7 billion since the inception of its repurchase program in 1998.
