AuStar secures 3-year renewal of mining license for Rose of Denmark gold mine

AuStar Gold Ltd. received approval for a three-year renewal of mining license MIN 5299, covering its Rose of Denmark gold mine and a number of other prospective historic workings in Victoria, Australia, from Earth Resources Regulation.

The approval permits mining beyond the prior bulk sampling restrictions, while remaining subject to an appropriate and approved mine work plan, AuStar said Oct. 15.

The company has kicked off preparation of a mine work plan for Rose of Denmark, which will progress concurrently with other exploration and development activity on site.
