Colony NorthStar classifies certain authorized preferred shares

Colony NorthStar Inc. classified 13.8 million of its authorized preferred shares as series I preferred stock under articles supplementary filed with the Maryland State Department of Assessments and Taxation.

The 7.15% series I cumulative redeemable perpetual preferred stock has a per-share liquidation preference of $25.00, plus accrued and unpaid dividends.

Dividends on the stock are payable quarterly in arrears on or about the 15th day of January, April, July and October, starting July 15 in the amount of 19.86 cents per share, according to a filing.

The articles supplementary went into effect June 5.
