Wells Fargo names regional president for Asia-Pacific

Wells Fargo & Co. appointed Jafar Amin as regional president for Asia-Pacific.

Amin replaced interim Regional President Jim Johnston. He will be based in Hong Kong.

Additionally, Amin will be head of Wells Fargo's global financial institutions business in Asia-Pacific, replacing Jim Ho, who was appointed head of the China business development and advisory team.

Most recently, Amin was executive vice president and head of global financial institutions for Europe.
