Greencoat UK Wind to purchase 48.5-MW wind farm from Innogy

Renewable infrastructure fund Greencoat UK Wind PLC agreed to acquire the 48.5-MW Glen Kyllachy wind farm from Innogy Renewables UK Ltd. for a headline consideration of £57.5 million, it said in an Oct. 10 news release.

The deal is expected to close in October 2021, once the wind project reaches full operations.

The subsidy-free wind farm will be built in the Scottish Highlands, 11 miles south of Inverness. First export of electricity for the project is expected in July 2021.

Greencoat UK Wind is a fund of London-headquartered private equity firm Greencoat Capital LLP.
