UBS Asset Management is looking to raise £100 million from institutional investors for its new long-income fund, Property Week reported.
UBS Long Income UK Property Fund is set to be launched by the end of the first quarter of 2018 and UBS seeks to grow the open-ended vehicle to £500 million within five years. The fund will target up to 30% loan-to-value ratio and deliver net income returns of more than 6%, according to the report.
The fund will be invested in several asset classes, but alternative assets and properties with 25-year leases and inflation-linked rent reviews are preferred, the Dec. 1 report noted. The asset manager has already identified more than £100 million worth of supported living properties for the fund's seed portfolio, the report added.
