FirstEnergy extends maturity of 2 credit facilities

FirstEnergy Corp. entered amendments to extend its 364-day term-loan facility with The Bank of Nova Scotia until Sept. 9, 2020, and its two-year term loan facility with JPMorgan Chase Bank NA until Sept. 11, 2021.

The amendments also reallocated $250 million of loans from the 364-day term loan to the two-year term loan, according to a Sept. 17 Form 8-K filing. A total of $1.0 billion is outstanding under the 364-day term loan facility and $750 million under the two-year term loan facility.
