HSBC Holdings Plc has appointed a technology advisory board to guide it on strategies relating to global infrastructure, cybersecurity and creative technology.
The board will comprise Mickey Boodaei, CEO of Transmit Security, a cyber security expert; Steve Kirsch, CEO of Token, an open banking expert; Chris Larsen, executive chairman of Ripple, an expert in blockchain; Megan Quinn, general partner at Spark Capital; Kira Radinsky, chief scientist at eBay, a machine learning and data science expert; Haoyu Shen, former CEO of JD.com, an e-commerce and internet expert; Vishal Sikka, CEO of Infosys, an artificial intelligence expert; and Gurjeet Singh, CEO of Ayasdi, an artificial intelligence expert.
HSBC COO Andy Maguire will serve as chairman of the advisory board, which will meet quarterly.
