Arcland Service Q4 profit climbs 17.5% YOY

Arcland Service Holdings Co. Ltd. said its fourth-quarter normalized net income amounted to ¥20.06 per share, an increase of 17.5% from ¥17.08 per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥638.5 million, an increase of 17.5% from ¥543.6 million in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 10.0% from 9.5% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue grew 11.5% year over year to ¥6.36 billion from ¥5.70 billion, and total operating expenses climbed 11.1% on an annual basis to ¥5.37 billion from ¥4.83 billion.

Reported net income rose 5.3% from the prior-year period to ¥621.0 million, or ¥19.51 per share, from ¥590.0 million, or ¥18.53 per share.

For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled ¥65.89 per share, a gain of 14.3% from ¥57.65 per share in the prior year.

Normalized net income was ¥2.10 billion, a rise of 14.3% from ¥1.84 billion in the prior year.

Full-year total revenue grew 11.2% from the prior-year period to ¥23.29 billion from ¥20.94 billion, and total operating expenses rose 10.6% year over year to ¥19.93 billion from ¥18.02 billion.

The company said reported net income grew 15.5% on an annual basis to ¥2.07 billion, or ¥64.99 per share, in the full year, from ¥1.79 billion, or ¥56.29 per share.
