VIG Partners reaches $810M final close of its 4th fund

Korean private equity firm VIG Partners raised $810 million at the final close of VIG Partners Fund IV, exceeding its initial target of $800 million, Deal Street Asia reported.

The fund held its first close in May 2019 at $530 million.

It's first investment was a $140 million controlling stake in South Korean online and offline blended education service provider, D.Share.

The fund will target control positions in Korean companies with enterprise values ranging from $70 million to $500 million.
