U.S.-based snack maker Mondelez International Inc. said June 14 that it has invested $200 million since 2014 in its biscuit manufacturing factory in Opava, Czech Republic.
The Opava facility produces brands including Oreo, Milka and Cadbury for the European market. It is among Mondelez's global sites that have opened or been upgraded over the last few years.
The investment is in line with the company's global effort to build a supply chain that reduces complexity and increases flexibility while being cost-conscious, according to the release.
