ONLY Corp. fiscal Q3 profit falls YOY

ONLY Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended May 31 came to ¥59.62 per share, a decrease of 12.9% from ¥68.44 per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥287.5 million, a decline of 12.9% from ¥330.0 million in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin declined to 13.4% from 14.9% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue declined year over year to ¥2.14 billion from ¥2.22 billion, and total operating expenses came to ¥1.69 billion, compared with ¥1.71 billion in the year-earlier period.

Reported net income fell 12.7% year over year to ¥276.0 million, or ¥57.24 per share, from ¥316.0 million, or ¥65.53 per share.

As of July 15, US$1 was equivalent to ¥123.95.
