Yuanta Securities Korea to issue up to 1 trillion won of bonds

Yuanta Securities Korea Co. Ltd. plans to issue up to 1 trillion South Korean won of electronic short-term bonds in 2019.

The bonds will have a maturity date of less than one year and the interest rate will be subject to market conditions.

Proceeds raised from the issuance will be used for business operations and to respond to changes in the money market, the company said Dec. 4.

Yuanta Securities Korea is a unit of Yuanta Financial Holdings Co. Ltd.

As of Dec. 4, US$1 was equivalent to 1,108.96 South Korean won.
