BofA Merrill Lynch names co-heads of Asia-Pacific M&A

Bank of America Merrill Lynch Corp. named Mark Schwille and Tom Barsha as co-heads of the company's Asia-Pacific M&A business, Reuters reported, citing an internal memo and confirmed by a company spokeswoman.

Schwille and Barsha will cover every market in the region, from Australia to Japan. They will both be based in Hong Kong, according to the report.

Schwille, who joined the company in 2017, previously served as head of Asia M&A, excluding Japan. Barsha, who joined in 2005, previously served as a managing director in the company's's M&A team, Reuters added.
