Bank of Nova Scotia appoints managing director

Toronto-based Bank of Nova Scotia appointed Luc Ouellet as managing director and head of corporate and investment banking in Montreal.

The company also appointed Sébastien Perron-Carle as director for investment banking in Montreal.

Ouellet has more than 20 years of investment banking experience and has advised on high-profile M&A transactions. Perron-Carle also has financial transactions experience across M&A advisory and capital markets.

Ouellet and Perron-Carle will join the company in spring 2019.
