Groupe Partouche fiscal H1 profit climbs YOY

Groupe Partouche SA said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended April 30 was 63 euro cents per share, an increase from 4 cents per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was €6.0 million, an increase from €409,750 in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue came to €206.2 million, compared with €207.7 million in the prior-year period, and total operating expenses fell from the prior-year period to €188.6 million from €196.6 million.

Reported net income decreased 42.8% on an annual basis to €12.2 million, or €1.26 per share, from €21.3 million, or €2.20 per share.
