L'Oréal's EVP of human resources to step down; Jean-Claude Le Grand to succeed

L'Oréal SA said Feb. 22 that Jérôme Tixier, its executive vice president of human resources, will step down July 1 and that the company named Jean-Claude Le Grand as his successor.

Tixier was appointed human resources director for the French cosmetics giant's professional products division in 1993, moving up to an executive management role at L'Oréal's human resources unit in 2011. Prior to that, Tixier served in various senior positions within the company.

Le Grand, who will also become a member of the company's executive committee, has worked with Tixier since 2011 as the director of international HR development and corporate diversity. He joined L'Oréal's consumer products division in 1996.
