Srei Infrastructure buys back long-term infrastructure bonds

Srei Infrastructure Finance Ltd. repurchased 44,866 long-term infrastructure bonds with a face value of 1,000 Indian rupees each.

The company said March 24 that series 1 and 3 bonds were repurchased at 1,000 rupees per bond, series 2 bonds were repurchased at 1,531.58 rupees per bond, while series 4 bonds were repurchased at 1,549.24 per bond.

Srei Infrastructure had said Aug. 6, 2016, that it plans to buy back 248,856 long-term infrastructure bonds it offered in late 2011.

As of March 24, US$1 was equivalent to 65.39 Indian rupees.
