EnBW energizes German offshore wind farm

German utility EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG has placed online the 112-MW Albatros offshore wind farm in the German North Sea.

The company's nearby 497-MW Hohe See wind farm entered operation in October 2019 and together, the two sites have a combined capacity of 609 MW and a total of 87 wind turbines. Construction was completed in September 2019.

The offshore wind farms are 50.1% owned by EnBW and 49.9% by Enbridge Inc.
