Alexandria Real Estate Equities wraps up common stock offering

Alexandria Real Estate Equities Inc. completed its public offering of 6.9 million common shares at $155.00 per share.

The offering includes the full exercise of the underwriters' option to buy 900,000 additional shares.

The office real estate investment trust entered into forward-sale agreements with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, Bank of America NA, Citibank NA and JPMorgan Chase Bank NA London branch in conjunction with the offering.

The REIT said any net proceeds will be used mainly to finance pending and recently completed acquisitions and development projects.

Goldman Sachs, BofA Securities, Citigroup and J.P. Morgan were joint book-running managers for the offering. Baird, BBVA, BTIG, Evercore ISI, Regions Securities LLC, Scotiabank, SMBC, Wells Fargo Securities, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, Barclays, BNP PARIBAS, Capital One Securities, Fifth Third Securities, Mizuho Securities, PNC Capital Markets LLC, RBC Capital Markets, TD Securities and Ramirez & Co. Inc. were the co-managers.
