Haitong Securities FY'17 net profit rises YOY

Haitong Securities Co. Ltd.'s profit attributable to owners increased in 2017 to 8.62 billion Chinese yuan, or 74 fen per share, from 8.04 billion yuan, or 70 fen per share, in 2016.

Net cash from operating activities rose to 37.21 billion yuan from 19.27 billion yuan, while revenue and other income slid to 41.32 billion yuan from 42.49 billion yuan in the prior year.

The company's board declared a cash dividend of 23 fen per share for 2017 from 22 fen per share for 2016.

The S&P Capital IQ consensus GAAP EPS estimate for full-year 2017 was 74 fen per share.

As of March 27, US$1 was equivalent to 6.28 Chinese yuan.
