SinoPac Financial independent director resigns

Taiwan's SinoPac Financial Holdings Co. Ltd. said Tsai Ying-Yi resigned as an independent director on its board, effective Feb. 1.

The resignation comes after Tsai was invited to become a visiting scholar by the Central Bank of Finland, according to a Jan. 13 stock exchange filing.
