KNT-CT Holdings Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fourth quarter was ¥104.94 per share, an increase of 30.6% from ¥80.37 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥2.88 billion, an increase of 32.5% from ¥2.17 billion in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin increased to 2.4% from 1.9% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue climbed year over year to ¥118.61 billion from ¥116.25 billion, and total operating expenses came to ¥114.08 billion, compared with ¥113.14 billion in the year-earlier period.
Reported net income came to ¥3.36 billion, or ¥122.55 per share, compared to a loss of ¥803.0 million, or a loss of ¥29.69 per share, in the year-earlier period.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled ¥153.41 per share, an increase of 61.7% from ¥94.90 per share in the prior year.
Normalized net income was ¥4.18 billion, an increase of 63.0% from ¥2.56 billion in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue decreased on an annual basis to ¥424.93 billion from ¥433.43 billion, and total operating expenses fell on an annual basis to ¥418.53 billion from ¥430.05 billion.
The company said reported net income came to ¥4.34 billion, or ¥159.40 per share, in the full year, compared with a loss of ¥1.25 billion, or a loss of ¥46.44 per share, the prior year.
