Banco Pan taps new chairman

Banco Pan SA said that Gilberto Magalhães Occhi resigned as chairman of the board and will also replace José Henrique Marques da Cruz on the company board.

The bank nominated Nelson Antônio de Souza as chairman, to replace Magalhães Occhi, effective until the company's annual general meeting in 2019.

The new chairman appointment will take affect once it is approved by the central bank, the company said in a filing.

In April, Antônio de Souza also replaced Magalhães Occhi as CEO of Caixa Econômica Federal.
